The Usui Reiki System
Reiki is an energy-work practice which attunes its practitioners
to be channels for universal energy. It can be likened to
Healing Touch Therapies or Laying on of Hands in that the
practitioner uses specific hand placements to conduct healthy
energy into the bodies of their clients. The student of Reiki
trains him or herself to be a present, open channel, with each
consecutive attunement allowing the student to conduct larger
amounts of energy into their clients. The farther a person has
progressed in the system, the more powerful channel they
create, and the faster balance can be restored. Reiki training
does not deal at length or in depth with the chakric or auric
systems. In comparing Reiki with Chios® Technique, one
might say that Reiki is more general and that Chios® is more
specialized.
Reiki I is traditionally taught for those who wish to directly
treat the physical bodies of themselves and others.
Reiki 2 increases the vibratory rate and focuses mostly on
mental and emotional balancing. It also allows one to send
healing energy over distances.
Reiki 3 is the Master Level and grants you the ability to teach
and attune your own students. Like the Chios courses, You
will receive certificates upon completion of each course and at
the successful completion of the Master Level, you will also
receive your teaching information.
